2 1/2 inch hulls?

Postby kculbert2 » Mon Nov 01, 2021 9:41 am

I recently picked up some 2 1/2 inch 20 gauge hulls that i intend to roll crimp. I think a roll crimped 2 1/2 inch hull will have as much room as a 2 3/4 inch fold crimp, maybe a little more. Any load ideas? I'm thinking about a duplex load with 1/2 oz of tss over steel.

tecnically yes; a rolled 65mm hull should close at 61mm; a 70 mm hull will crimp at 59.5/60mm (if spinned over) or 62.1 if folded
in lead you can use a 70mm load adjusting the wad but not sure how TSS will react
