TSS Newbie

Postby KPete » Sat Oct 16, 2021 11:28 am

Kpete in Central North Dakota getting set up for TSS waterfowl 410 and TSS 12 Gauge load for Coyotes. My first sit in a duck blind was at 5 years old. Dad carried me to blind and I stood on the seat because bottom of blind was underwater. Worried about biting down on a TSS shot. When eating the coyotes, of course! :D :D

My TSS #9 passes through. 1/4 ounce of it in the bottom of the wad and enough regular steel to get a proper crimp is all you need. Follow a recipe, don't freelance or wildcat a load.

TSS #3 or #4 shot are about perfect for killing and breaking down coyotes. Both of these TSS shot sizes will give you great penetration even when the shot angle is not good.
