Simple Cheap 20 Gauge TSS Buckshot Load

Postby mchughcb » Sun Jan 17, 2021 5:51 am

I've done a few calculations and I think 12 x 6.5mm TSS will fit nicely in 4 rows of three with a bit of buffer and wrap into a GB 00 31 gram load using the B&P wad.

Anybody using 6.5mm TSS in 20 Gauge?

Lol, not much discussion here so I'm on my own again

Having a play with the repurposed factory rounds I have found the following.
In the slightly larger B&P commander wads in the GB BB load I can fit 12 x 6.5mm TSS balls in there and have enough for buffer and come to a weight of 30grams. I can also fit in 20 x 5.5mm TSS balls in there and have enough room for buffer.

Going to go with the 5.5mm balls. I can just push 20 balls in the 20 gauge but I might back it off, use some buffer and go 16 balls but the 70mm 12 gauge will easily handle 20 balls. Should be enough for drop bears.
