Hi all,
Advice needed please.
I’m using 28g cork packers to pack my b&p 24 wads 20g wads. I have until now as test loads sanded or cut down the cork packers slightly as they seem to be expanding the wad slightly when I push them in making the wad tight in the hull.
Now that I’m confident in the load I’m going to load a large batch of loads but it would take 15 - 20 mins per load if I sand down the packers to fit.
I’m reluctant to use all felt packers under the shot as I believe it can effect the pressure? So was wondering whether to try .410 corks with a thin 28g felt on the top of them instead of the 28s?
Any help or ideas appreciated.
Thanks
Alfie
