looking for a recipe for powder in 20 ga tss 3" loads
I am looking for a bit of help on the amount of powder to use in 20 ga tss loads. I have #7 shot, fiochi 3" primed hulls? Any help would be greatly appreciated.....I'm just starting out on handloading.

Welcome.
Go look at bpi load of the week, ballistic products. They have 20ga 2.75in data for hw18 and hw15 loads. 3in hulls will be less pressure, but I would cut them down. No one needs a 3in hull for 20ga tss, even the smallest nontox wads are already too big, pt2090. You end up using buffers in that one.
Also, you need to define your load... 3in hull is meaningless, tell folks what payload you're trying to launch, and the powder. Tell what game youre after. If you have wads, say what kind. The absolute least important part is the hull. Follow an exact recipe with every part. You can't interchange powders, or wads, or primers, or shot types, or hulls, or hull lengths.
So asking "how much powder?" Is like saying "I'm baking. How much white stuff?"
