Hello Neil here.

Just got back into duck hunting and steel sucks. Looking for better option and tss looks like it. Hoping to get my knowledge brought up to speed here.

Welcome. Lots of guys with lots of knowledge here. I just started spiking steel loads this year and have so far been very impressed with the results.

The standard TSS spike is going to cost you around $1.00 more per shell. In the big scheme of things (gas, time, gear, etc) it's not that expensive.

Welcome. I had a problem recovering Redheads over open water. Pop them at responsible ranges and they would still find a way to dive and never return. Went to a duplex load from Hal and all of that changed instantly. It’s worth every penny for me and for the animal.
