Finally found this place. I started rolling tss for turkeys a while back thanks to HAL and others. Last few years I have got into 20 gauge for tss for ducks and it’s really addictive. Here’s some of my patterns.....

Do you use anything to catch your pellets? The back of my patterning board is a piece of plywood. It catches all the pellets I pattern. I'm going to cut it up and burn the wood in a charcoal grill to recover the pellets. Probably have $30 worth of shot in that plywood.

Yes all of the tss I shoot is over a trap. It’s the only way I can afford to shoot so many at the pattern board.
I built it for a roll of contractors paper 36” wide x40” or so tall. It’s has 4-5 bed liner mats or floor runners hanging in it and metal back. About 10” deep with a V trough in the bottom to collect shot with a magnet.
At first I was only getting about 80% in the through. But after a ton of shots into the mats more starts to fall out some days I get more than 100% of what was shot that day back.
