TSS WT15 PEDERSOLI PERCUSSION 12 GUAGE
Patterns ok but not as good as i hoped.50 yards i have 80 or so pellets not even on the paper!!! This is with 70 grains of 777 powder.over powder thin wad,bio fibre cup wad, 1 oz TSS 15 wt with overshot thin wad.Cannot get this wonder shot to go any tighter .very disappointed.Good for geese for sure but at the price im paying i wanted 55 yards tight patterns in the 30" circle.Any ideas? Some say drop the charge to 50 grains but thats a sloppy low powder charge i think. What can i do to draw in this muzzle loading load ????? Gun is cylinder by the way--ie no choke.

you Prolly know this but in case not, you can cut the fibre wad petals shallower which should help somewhat.
Good luck

You have 8 hits on vital areas. I see no problem with that. Make the best with what you have. Don't try to make what you have "perfect" in your mind because you will just end up frustrated.
My 2 biggest furnished rental houses, they are $1600 a week to rent. They sleep 8 guys each. Sometimes I have 5 or 6 guys that rent it. I only get $1000 or $1200 a week rent. I'm happy with that.

You might try going up or down in shot size. Bigger pellets sometimes pattern tighter.

Have you chrony'd your load? From what I understand, and I hope others that know more than I will chime in, that the faster you push TSS the more chance of pattern blow-out will occur.
But I shoot a skeet 1 choke and not a cylinder ck after dropping down a full grain of Asteel powder (IIRC lot 13). I've never messed with BP guns though.
