Beretta A400 Bore DIA & Rob Roberts Chokes

Postby Fishh2o » Fri Apr 15, 2016 12:34 pm

So my A400 has a bore DIA of .723. I just talked to Larry at Rob Roberts and the T# series of chokes are:

  • T1 - .005 - Cylinder
  • T2 - .015 - Light Mod
  • T3 - .030 - Light Full

So Im shooting a .738 and getting the best patterns so far. Im going to hit the pattern board this weekend so I hope to have some results up for you guys.

Do any of you guys have any experience with the Rob Roberts line of chokes? What are you seeing your best patterns from Toasty has a good post going on right now at DHC for a duplex load and the Carlson Extended LM Choke .541 in a 28ga looks pretty darn good to me.

Roll with it. If you stay above 55 the wheel wont fall off.

Fish2o:

Did you try a T1 or T3 out of your A400?

What type of patterns is the T2 giving you with a TSSxsteel duplex load?
