My latest foray to the Broowning website has no 28 ga listings for the BPS. Anyone know if this model has been discontinued?

Lost,
I haven't noticed. I have been looking for a good 28ga. I wouldn't mind having a SXS for ducks. Any suggestions on something not that expensive 1500 or less that can be taken in the salt marshes.

Roll with it. If you stay above 55 the wheel wont fall off.

Pretty hard to beat the BPS for fowl (lol) weather, bottom load and eject keeps the water and spray out of the action and then there is the legendary reliability of the pump action. You could probably buy three of them for 1500.............. Lost

If you have an Academy near you check out their house brand Yildiz, they have a sweet O/U.

I like the Stevens 555 nickle receiver in 28ga as a low-cost O/U that you wouldn't feel bad about taking to the duck blind. Read a lot of reviews from folks that liked them.
