12 Gauge TSS Recipe
I am thinking of mixing in some TSS#9 shot with Steel. Does anyone have any safe loading recipes with pressure data for this load? 3" 12gauge. Thanks in advance.

If you got your TSS from Hal just ask him.
Roll with it. If you stay above 55 the wheel wont fall off.

Re: 12 Gauge TSS Recipe
I'd bet over 50% of all recommendations I read for 3" loads are RSI 131, 130, or 134 loads, with most folks liking RSI 131=520gr steel shot at 1550. 130 and 134 are 5/4oz.
Load one of those up and replace 1/8oz steel with 1/8oz TSS, tss in the bottom.
Put any filler you need due to lower volume BELOW ALL THE SHOT.
This relies on the assumption that pressure will be lower due to same payload but shorter column producing less wad friction. RSI 131 is a nice 10,200 psi to start with.

Those loads are good and good advice Dave.
I lek to use the felt fillers on on the bottom.

I've been using the recipe from the Alliant website for a 2.75" Fed GM hull with 1.125 oz of shot. I substitute .25 oz of TSS for .25 oz of steel and add a .125 felt filler. No complaints here.

Paul, any idea what speed you're getting from that, with or without the TSS? That's pretty much the load I would use myself, if I duplexed in 12ga with TSS.
Assuming you mean the SAM1 wad one, if you add 2 more grain of powder you get RSI #66, at 1485 fps also, 100 fps faster than the Alliant recipe... however, I do know that Goosepit2007 chronographed the exact Alliant recipe with 32gr and go 1445 fps, so that may be just perfect.
Those are my absolute favorite loads also-- 1-1/8oz, FedGM (or Cheddite). When I chronographed a similar load (Cheddite, ch209, 34gr asteel, sam1, 9/8oz), I only got 1318 fps... but my crimps were kinda weak on all 5 flavors of that load I tested. Also, my gun was a Maxus with invector plus barrels at .742", so oversize, and the SAM1 wad probably doesn't seal up as well as the CSD or LBC wads in that diameter.

Assuming you mean the SAM1 wad one,
The published load I used used the Precision Reloading wad for 1425 fps. I chronoed 2 shells today, 1601 and 1605 fps. Pattern wasn't blown, but it didn't look very good either. I'm going to take those 50 shells apart for the components.
I did try a Lightning steel load #10 and #3 with straight steel. It patterned fairly well. So then I subbed .25 oz of TSS for steel and added enough steel to stack to the top of the wad. It took .875 oz. So now I have 1.125 oz in a 1.0 oz wad. Tried 32 grains of Steel and it wasn't very fast. Bumped it up to 34 grains and it chronoed 1350. Pattern looked excellent. I would guestimate better than 80% of the pellets were in a 30" circle. Super Black Eagle 2 with a Terror .675

Looking for a 12ga, 7/8 and or 1oz #8 TSS load recipe. This will be for hitting anything from teal to specks. I'd like to show those hevi-shot bigots a thing or two

There isn't really a TSS load recipe. You just need to use a steel recipe and sub TSS for the steel. But a 7/8 or 1.0 oz load of steel, you'll be hard pressed to find a wad that will hold the shot without a lot of filler. I suppose you could use a 3/4 oz steel wad and it's recipe plus filler.
