Questions about load data

Postby Fishh2o » Tue Mar 28, 2017 10:45 am

We get some questions from time to time and we love them. The things we need so we can answer you and give useful safe info:

  • What are the loads going to be used for hunting, clays, if hunting what bird or game?
  • What will you be reloading with (hand loader or mechanical)?
  • What hulls do you prefer or be using or if you have a preference?
  • Do you have a preferred wad or powder?

I'm sure we can add more to the list but I don't want to get it complicated. This will be something to get the ball rolling.

Roll with it. If you stay above 55 the wheel wont fall off.

I found that TSS is taking a foothold in EU as well, but there seems to be limited loads with EU components.

I was thinking on a load for duck and one for geese
Manually reloaded
2 3/4 and 3" Fiocchi and Cheddite hulls
FIO616 or CX2000 primers
A-Steel, Lil Gun, 800X or Longshot (more common un EU)
B&P Steel or Gualandi Tubo wads
TSS #9 (ducks) - #7 (geese)

As soon as I get the TSS and some info from the courier i will send some load to proof here in UK

Shat summed it up, same for 20 GA send in your loads to pressure test I had problems with the Fio's and Lil Gun once I use it up I
am going to try the Cheddite hulls for some 20 Ga loads.
